Black Friday

Ok, I officially survived "Black Friday"! Yes, I worked the night before and then met everyone to shop for the day. But by the time that I was able to meet everyone, they had already been up since 3:30 or even earlier to be at Kohls at 4 am. We are die hard shoppers, Yes we are!!!!!
You know I was listening to the radio before I got off work, and they kept reporting that they were getting calls, that people were fighting and attacking each other, but I did not see that in Evansville, yes people were getting annoyed but they were nice. It wasn't until I got home that I realized how sore and tired I was, and how bad it was in other states, I mean killing someone??? Doesn't that make you think, Is it really worth it???? You just changed your whole life by making one little mistake over something that you could live without, I don't really get the concept of that choice that someone makes.
I love to go shopping with my friends on Black Friday, it is a day out with no kids and an adult conversation and yes some of it is also the challenge of getting what you came for, but I always remember it really is time to be with the ones you care about and just being there!!!

I had a great time going shopping, and loved the time that I got to spend with everyone, I thank-you for letting me join you(Jenn,Patty,Sarah,Christie)I really did enjoy it and loved the slap happy at 1 pm.

Well the holiday is fast approaching, a little to too fast for me, but also I am ready to get it over. It is not going to be the same this year, will be looking down at my moms dinner table and there usually sat Grammie. That is going to be the hardest thing ever especially for my mother, who is really wanting to avoid the holiday all together this year, because it has offically set in that she is not here, the house is sold and there is someone else living there and we don't have to yell over each other to have a conversation with the person who we loved and still love so dearly sitting at the end of the table where she has sat since I was born.
I will be joining Jenn,Sarah and Christie for Black Friday this year that is after I get off from work. I am pretty much done, just have my mother to finish. I am not really going to buy unless I see something I really need, I am going to be out without children and be with a group of intelligent, funny women who I love to be around and have great conversations with, I need this!!!!

Well I wish Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and hope that it is great!!!

Just have to say thanks to everyone for being a great friend, for listening, for helping, for understanding what I might be going through and just for being there. I give thanks for all of my great friends, who I love dearly, and who I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have them in my life and for all of my family.

Jenn I would also like you to also thankyou for not only being a great friend but for bring me to Old North!

Christmas is Almost Here!!!!

Well it has really set in that Christmas is just right around the corner. We went to the Christmas parade today, Chance loved it, so she said. It was such a wonderful day weather wise in the first part of the day and then at the parade it turned cold, I mean very cold!!! But I really think that Alexandria and Chance had a blast, and that is all that matters. Chance wasn't even scared by the characters, I was so proud of her, even though mommy was not very fond of the clowns at all!
Well today was also another challenging day with Chance, she seems to be acting up more. I know that we have finally hit the terrible three's, but I was really hoping that she would settle down. When she acts out like she did at the restuarant for lunch, I feel like I have no control at all, and she can be so stubborn when I dicipline her, that I am more frustrated than what I was when I first started, what to do??? I do not know anymore???

Well once again the weekend has gone by too fast, and it is off to work tomorrow(exp. for Jen--girl you deserve a vacation!!!!)

Just have to give a shout out to Jenn and Tony before I finish for the night, congrats on Tony getting Dayshift----It is about Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok Jen, I think I finally got it!!!!
Wow, how cool is it to finally have my own blog page. After reading my great friend Jen's, I quickly fell in love with how much you can get off your shoulders. I am sure that it will take me awhile to get the hang of it, hey look how long it took me to figure out how to start it!!! Yeh, hate to admit it, I am not the computer person at all, but I am learning as I go and with a little help, which I appreciate.
